L-com's Category 5e or Cateogry 6 transversely sealed jam-nuts are an ideal fit for situations requiring a ruggedized RJ45 jack and a simple D-hole for mounting with no additional hardware required. They boast an IP68 rating even without a mated connector or dust cap! Zinc-Nickel and Electroless Nickel versions are available with an EMI grounding plate on both sides of the receptacle to ensure proper grounding for shielded RJ45 cables. Jam-nuts are available both with and without dust caps.

• Only a D-cut hole is needed for mounting
• Ruggedized RJ45 Jacks are able to mate with L-com's line of Ruggedized Plugs as well as assemblies built using those plugs or standard RJ45's
• Jacks are transversely sealed with or without mated connector or cap and maintain IP68 seal and rating
• Zinc-Nickel finish is shielded with EMC grounding shields and is olive drab in color; Zinc-Nickel options are not RoHS compliant
