Fiber optic Field cleaver for field installations

The L-com FOT-CLV is a leaf spring operated fiber cleaver designed for single fiber splices. The FOT-CLV is used for quick terminations of field connectors and also mechanical splicing. The FOT-CLV is designed for 250um to 900um fiber coatings and with the graduated scale easily measure the cleave length from 2mm to 20mm. The FOT-CLV uses a carbide blade which is good for up to 6000 cleaves before needing to be replaced.
