This super-slim model accommodates installation into narrow slot spaces typically found in older SUN SPARC , IBM , RISC/6000 and Apple Macintosh systems. The transceiver converts 10Base-5 signals via a DB15M/ AUI connector to standard RJ45 Jack for 10Base-T Ethernet for transmission over Unshielded Twisted-Pair cable.
